Interview with Mark Millar

I'm enthusiastic now that Ultimates #12 has finally been released. This monthly book comes out every six months or so. If it wasn't so awesome, I wouldn't care, but I feel like a heroin junkie without his junk. Here's a good interview with Mark Millar, the creator of the top selling comic book title at present. Interestingly, he notes in the interview that the bookstore industry has taken off so much that it's having one of the more significant effects on content and sales. He then notes that because of that fact - ie, new blood - the kind of material he can write is broader, just like what I just said in my previous entry. It's partly because of the bookstore distribution that the title was called The Ultimates and not The Ultimate Avengers: they were targeting non-fans.
